Clean India Trail is conceived and executed by Mrs.Sangeetha Sridhar, a 50yrs old happily married and mother to a 25 yrs. old son. An eGovernment Consultant by profession and a wanderlust by hobby, she has lived a camp-and-drive lifestyle abroad for two decades.She has served as an E-Government Strategic Consultant for Electronic service and is also a Digital Literacy Award winning Academic scoring over 25 years of professional career. Her career highlights in technology include, national portal information architecture, e-Service standardisation, Smart branding of Nation on Social Media, and responsible tourism drives. Her ‘Digital Oman’ column was published by the national newspaper for over 8 years and she edited the 1st ICT magazine of Oman. Her research work has been published in International journals including the American Business Journal.
As a strong believer of equal access to all for sanitation facilities and walk-the-talk of a minimalistic lifestyle through anti-consumerism, Sangeetha believes in act-for-change instead of preaching and procrastination. She readily lends her skills and efforts to social causes and to associations working for the community. She has remained a vegetarian all her life and practices Yoga. Having travelled wide, she now embraces minimalism which has made her road trips lighter and more purposeful in networking with local community and appreciative of their indigenous lifestyles.
A wanderlust who likes to network with native people during her uncharted journeys has helped her to implore internally while exploring the richness of nature and humanity at a global level to lead a harmonious life of action and education via digital activism. She is readily communicative both online and offline as a public speaker at events.
Multi-faceted personality defines her, for she invests her energy and efforts in to all endeavours undertaken. She excels as a keynote speaker on disruptive technologies, innovation and green computing. She has won awards in Logo designs and loves to make hand-made jewellery. She has won Chef Extraordinary title for innovation and use of traditional ingredients and methods. Her photographs have won awards and have been featured in the covers of leading dailies and magazines. As an avid geology enthusiast, she collects rocks and semi-precious stones right from their origin merely for the purpose of study.

Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) (Clean India Mission) is a campaign the Government of India, to clean up the streets, roads and infrastructure of India's cities, smaller towns, and rural areas. The objectives of SBM include eliminating open defecation through the construction of household-owned and community-owned toilets and establishing an accountable mechanism of monitoring toilet use. SBM aims to achieve an Open-Defecation Free (ODF) India by 2 October 2019, the 150th anniversary of the birth of Mahatma Gandhi, by constructing 90 million toilets in rural India at a projected cost of ₹1.96 lakh crore (US$30 billion).
